The comedian Michael McIntyre has admitted to being shocked by the "hostility" of other comics, prompted by the scale of his success. The year-old, who sells out stadiums with his standup routine, tells radio presenter Kirsty Young on Sunday's Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4 that the criticism and scorn have spoiled some of the highlights of his career.
