We are Allen & Kimberly Keiter, owners of 4 Corners Ranch. We originate from PA (Allen) and OH (Kimberly) and moved to east TN in 2010 because of it's beautiful scenery and temperate seasons. We began our Longhorn Beef business in 2014 with the primary goal of offering a naturally lean, healthier alternative to traditional beef products. Allen brings his years on the family farm experience to the table, while Kimberly's background is in the communications & business management. Our two sons, Sean & Joey, are city boys turned cowboys and they are involved in all aspects of the business, including the Farmers' Markets and herd/property management at the ranch. And what ranch is complete without Gramma? Kimberly’s mother, Mrs. Shell, is the friendly voice on the phone calls to the ranch. Summer of 2016 introduces Kaity to the 4 Corners experience. She has become one of the family and brings an artistic touch to our finished skulls, as well as aids at the Markets, animal management and cooks a mean steak fajita!
We chose the Texas Longhorn for its superior meat product and the ability to to diversify. We offer our delicious, naturally-lean grass-fed & finished beef and we acquire and raise Registered genetics. Longhorns are an easy cattle breed to grass-finish, as they eat a broader spectrum of plant life than commercial breeds. Because of it's natural leanness, there is little trimming necessary during the process, and the net cooked weight is higher than traditional beef. Longhorns are also naturally disease resistant and calve easier than other breeds, with little to no human intervention required. The high demand of grass-fed & finished beef caught us unprepared and we have worked diligently the last few years developing relationships with other breeders of this fine cattle breed to bring the very best finished product to your dinner table.
